FOR THE SWEET TOOTH AND THE SMART MIND
thanks for stopping by!
Soprano. After school teacher. Fine dining captain. Academic. The many labels I’ve assumed throughout my life have shaped me into the creative I am today––and luckily, the shape isn’t as weird as I expected. I’ve wandered from the suburbs of Houston to the streets of Manhattan. Now I continue my exploration among Wynwood’s graffitied walls. Throughout my labyrinthine career path, the one constant in my life has been my love for people and language. Writing lies at the intersection of both. I strive to create work that is both rich in detail and that carries a strong emotional impact. Long hours in front of a notebook, welcome. Collaboration with strangers, preferred.
In my free time, I befriend every cat I encounter, cook overly elaborate meals, and seek out gourmet ice creams. I love exploring my surroundings through meandering photo walks and striking up conversations with those who cross my path. I have at least one hundred questions to ask, and an infinite amount of time to absorb anything and everything the world has to offer.
